Martin Rütschi has travelled to all European countries - from Malta to the polar ice caps, from the Ural mountain range to Portugal - from the most isolated areas to the biggest metropolises of the geographical Europe. The Swiss photographer portrayed over 1300 people with one goal - to capture the Face of Europe.

For Martin Rütschi as a photographer, an unexpected but globalized Europe revealed itself to him. A Europe, in which most distant areas the same T-shirts are worn and the same music is listened to, as in the biggest metropolises of the world. And yet there is a deep regional and cultural connection noticeable.
